Feedback/Revision
On Friday, January 12th, we presented our AICE Media video to the class. There are a few things we could fix but overall, we got good feedback from our audience and our teacher. The first thing we could change in our film is the script. We are giving the audience too much information about the story line which would not make the viewer want to continue watching it. Changing even a little bit of the script can help the movie go along way. Another change that we can change is to remove the scene where the young couple is talking in Publix. Dante, the father, is talking directly to the camera like it is an interview. This was not intended to happen because it is not a documentary. We are also at 2 minutes and 22 seconds. Editing and cutting some scenes is okay because we do have some extra time. The final change that we could do is an eye-line match of what the old people are doing at the end of the film. If we add this clip to our film, then it could give a good set up for the rest of the film and make the beginning more clear. All of these changes and feedback will make our film better along with making ourselves realize what should be better.
